OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA (KOKH) — Governor Kevin Stitt proclaimed the 12th School Choice Week for Oklahoma.
From Jan. 26 to Feb. 1, Oklahoma School Choice Week will hold more than 300 family events.
These events include open houses and school tours.
Oklahoma School Choice Week coincides with National School Choice Week, a weeklong national celebration of K-12 education.
“Oklahoma has majorly expanded its school choice options in the last several years to give Oklahoma children more educational opportunity,” said Shelby Doyle, vice president of public awareness at the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. “There’s a lot to celebrate during School Choice Week, and it’s our hope that parents find new options that help their kids thrive while having a lot of family fun in the process.”
