Ponca City Now - March 20, 2014 12:13 pm

Ponca City Police need your help identifying a man who stole head phones from Wal-Mart.

The surveillance photo shows the suspect as a white male, wearing black shorts and striped polo-style shirt.

Police officials said he entered the store around noon today and took a package of Body Glove ear buds from the display in the electronics department.

He then walked to another department, removed the ear buds from its packaging, discarded the packaging onto a shelf, placed the ear buds in his short’s pockets and walked out of the store.

Store security attempted to detain the subject, but he ran and was last seen running into Lansbrook housing area.

Police officials said shoplifting affects all of us because it forces price increases to cover their losses and stay in business.
