Work scheduled on sewer interceptor on north side of Lake Road

Ponca City Now - July 1, 2019 11:37 am

Beginning Wednesday, July 3, the Krapff-Reynolds Company will begin construction work to repair and rehabilitate an 18-inch sewer interceptor on the north side of Lake Road using pipe-bursting technology.

This construction project will require a road closure to all traffic on Lake Road, between Pecan and Kygar, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., from Wednesday, July 3, through Friday, July 12.

The contractor will open the road whenever work is not being executed on site. Therefore, this section of Lake Road will be open on the following days and time periods during construction:

  • All day on Thursday, July 4
  • All day on the weekend of Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7
  • All evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekdays.

Signing and barricades will be in place to detour and direct traffic around the construction site.

Any questions regarding this project may be directed to Darwin Haney, Water Utilities Maintenance Superintendent, at (580) 767-0485.
