A new charging station for electric cars will be installed in the parking lot of the Ponca City Library, City Commissioners agreed Monday night.

The Board approved an agreement with Francis EVC to lease the space of four parking places. The project will include one charger and will accommodate three cars, Ponca City Energy Director Phillip Johnston said.

Another charging station is being installed at the City Central building at Fourth and Central.
