Ponca City High School sophomore Jessica Hamlin will have a bowling party at Ponca Bowl on Saturday, June 15, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The party is a fundraiser to send Jessica to her third Junior Gold tournament in Detroit, Mich.
She was the captain of the girls’ team in this past school year.
The tournament is a weeklong worldwide bowling tournament, and bowlers must qualify in local or state events to participate.
The party will help offset some of the costs of attending the tournament, Jessica said.
Anyone who wants to show their support can pay $20 for unlimited bowling during those hours. Bowlers will receive a bracelet, a 12-ounce refillable cup for $1, and a ticket for door prizes.
