More bottled water available for McCord Rural Water District #3 customers

Ponca City Now - June 7, 2019 10:11 am

Volunteers are providing more bottled water today for customers of the McCord Rural Water District #3 who have been without water since a water line break following flooding in the area.

Mike Cook of the Green Herb has donated 125 cases of water to be given to those in need starting at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Distribution will be at the Gospel Jubilee, located on East Highway 60 at Howard Street in Osage County.

Coordinator Darrla James said Debbie Woodruff with Ponca City Lions Club has reserved an additional 150 cases of bottled water if more is needed. Cash donations to help offset the cost of water can be made at Heather Cannon Honda.

Repair efforts are being helped by sunny weather today. We’ll update with more information on the repairs as it becomes available.
