The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Flash Flood warning for southwestern Kay County; northwestern Noble County; southern Grant County and northeastern Garfield County until 4:30 p.m.

At 1:31 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is occurring or is imminent. Flooding, including water rescues, had occurred earlier today near Kremlin.

Some locations that will experience flooding include Tonkawa, Pond Creek, Billings, Lamont, Kremlin, Marland, Nash and Hunter. Additional rainfall will further exacerbate ongoing flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland and other low-lying spots.
