LOW WATER PRESSURE IN PONCA CITY – CLARIFICATION

Ponca City Now - May 29, 2019 2:45 pm

Five water wells have been taken offline, due to flooding in the City’s West Wellfield and Lake Road area.  There are still 15 water wells online.

The Ponca City Water Treatment Plant, though fully-functioning, is currently sending potable water (i.e. drinking water) to the water distribution system at a lower than normal pressure.

Therefore, customers throughout the community may experience lower water pressure, until these water wells can be brought back on line.  Thank you for your understanding and patience.
