The City of Ponca City has retained Sober Brothers Inc. to work on a water main relocation project starting at the intersection of South Ranch Drive and West North Avenue and ending about 1,300 feet to the east.

This project is required by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to facilitate the bridge replacement over Santa Fe Creek.

The contractor started installation of service connections this morning and will continue until 3 p.m.

During this time, all customers west of Highway 60 on South Ranch Drive and West North Avenue will be without water.
