Weather advisories issued for Kay County

Ponca City Now - May 20, 2019 10:26 am

The McCord Fire Department has issued a significant weather advisory in effect to include western Kay County until 10:30 a.m. Hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.

The Tonkawa Police Department advises strong thunderstorms are east of Perry and heading north at 55 mph.

Hazards include wind gusts of 50 mph and nickle size hail.

Places of impact include Tonkawa, Ponca City and Blackwell.
