Police respond to report of shooting; search continues

Captain Randy Tyner with the Ponca City Police Department said officers responded  to a call about 2:50 p.m. reporting shots fired in the area of Palm Street and Broadway Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

At 3:20, Tyner said nobody was hit by gunfire, and officers had the names of all the individuals involved. They were working to locate those people.

“It is no longer an immediate emergency,” he said.
