Trout Elementary School fifth grade students sponsored a pet food drive to help the Ponca City Humane Society.

They named the drive “No Empty Bowls Pet Food Drive.”

Students had a week to bring dry, unopened cat or dog food to the gym. Trout students were able to donate 133 pounds of pet food to the Humane Society.

The food was picked up by Kim Martin, PCHuS Development and Community Engagement Coordinator, Mascot Reggie, and Lisa Hinch, board member.
