Summer bowling leagues starting soon

Ponca City Now - April 29, 2019 2:16 pm

Many of the bowling leagues in the Ponca City Bowling Association will be ending soon and new summer leagues will be starting, said Duane Hunt, President of the Ponca City USBC Bowling Association.

These summer leagues will be 6 to 8 weeks long and fairly inexpensive – roughly 50 percent of the cost of a winter league, he said.

All leagues are open to all ages. There will be a No-Tap league starting at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2.

A Sunday evening league will start at 6 p.m. May 5. This league will consist of four-person teams. Form your own team or come join us on May 5 to be assigned to a team.

Starting at 6 p.m. May 9, there will be Learn to Bowl leagues. Come learn a sport in which you can participate in for the rest of your life.

For more information, call Hunt at (580) 382-4261.
