Ponca City Now - April 23, 2019 2:57 pm

Two people who were killed on April 21 in Beckham County have been identified by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Agents said Monique Smith, 46, was killed in Elk City, and Norman Burden, 67, was killed in Sayre.

The two homicides are connected and a person of interest is in custody. Gregory Killough, 49, was taken into custody by Tulsa Police after being pulled over driving Burden’s vehicle. Killough was identified as a person of interest because he was last seen with Smith an hour before her death, OSBI agents said.

The investigation is ongoing.
