Ever wondered what families did without stoves, ovens and microwaves?
The Pioneer Woman is answering that question for you this Saturday.
Pioneer Woman director,Robbin Davis said they are hosting a Women and Wilderness, Keeping the Family Fed program.
“The program is led by outdoor educator, Louann Waters and it includes excerpts from the Pioneer Woman Diaries," Davis said. "She’ll also do some examples of food prep for that time period and she’ll also include tasting samples.”
The workshop is $5 per person and that includes admission to the museum.
Davis said the program is open to anyone and is important.
“We always want to try and keep our heritage alive, and this one of the ways to do that," Davis said.
The museum is asking everyone to pre-register.
You can pre-register at the museum, via email or phone.
There will be two sessions, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
