Year-Round Landscaping

Good landscaping doesn’t just happen by chance. They take some planning and understanding of design. We will look at those basic elements and principles of design to see how they are incorporated into the landscape and what plants you can add into your garden to make it beautiful throughout the year.

Native Species and Their Native Alternatives

Sometimes we gte a little carried away with our landscaping, and we introduce invasive species into our area. This presentation is intended to bring awareness of our invasive species in Oklahoma, and the better non-invasive alternatives to put into our landscape. Hopefully we can curb our problematic species, to help reduce their chokehold on our beautiful native plants.

Kay County OSU Agriculture

Extension Educator
