‘The 39 Steps’ final weekend at Ponca Playhouse

Ponca City Now - March 22, 2019 2:36 pm

John Buchan’s “The 39 Steps,” adapted by Patrick Barlow, was Broadway’s longest running comedy, and it’s at the Ponca Playhouse, directed by Sam Dunbar Stuart!

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have “The 39 Steps,” a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre.

This 2-time TONY and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an on-stage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for students. This weekend’s final performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24. For ticket information: Ponca Playhouse tickets.
