Personal injury collision in Pawnee County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a personal injury collision occurred about 2:25 p.m. Saturday on State Highway 48, about two-tenths of a mile south of Terlton Road in Pawnee County, OK.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2009 Honda Accord driven by Ronald Boone, 78, of Mannford, OK. The driver was not injured.

A passenger in Boone’s vehicle, Caroline Boone, 80, of Mannford, OK was transported by Tulsa Life Flight to St John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was admitted with head, arm, and internal injuries.

The second vehicle involved was a 2007 Ford Edge driven by China Ready (SIC), 30, of Mannford, OK. Ready was transported by Mercy EMS to Cleveland Hospital in Cleveland, Oklahoma, where she was treated and released.

A passenger in Ready’s vehicle, Remington Ready (SIC), 4, of Mannford, OK was transported by Mercy EMS to Cleveland Hospital in Cleveland, Oklahoma, where he was treated and released..

A second passenger in Ready’s vehicle, Kimber Ready, 11 months, of Mannford, OK was transported by Mercy EMS to Cleveland Hospital in Cleveland, Oklahoma, where she was treated and released.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated Ready’s vehicle was stopped at the signal light when Boone’s vehicle failed to stop, striking Ready’s vehicle in the rear. Seatbelts were equipped and in use by all parties. The condition of both drivers was apparently normal and the cause of the collision is attributed to inattention.

Investigated by Trooper Vince Curtis B854 of the Creek County Detachment of Troop B-Tulsa. Assisted by North 48 Fire Department, Basin Fire Department, and Mannford Police Department.
