Po-Hi Hall of Fame committee seeking nominations

Ponca City Now - February 27, 2019 12:56 pm

The Ponca City High School Hall of Fame committee is seeking nominations for this year’s induction, which will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Carolyn Renfro Banquet Center.

The Hall of Fame was established to bring honor to Ponca City High School alumni, living or deceased, who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in their career.  In honoring these individuals, part of the plan is to exhibit their pictures in a prominent place at Po-Hi, which hopefully will be an inspiration to students as they pass through the halls now and in the future.

Nomination forms are available at the Po-Hi Hall of Fame Facebook page OR at the Ponca City School Administration office.  Plans are to induct five to 10 alumni this year.  Deadline for nominations is May 1, 2019.

All Po-Hi alumni are invited to participate in this important nomination process.  If there is a person who has achieved outstanding accomplishments in their career and is a graduate of Ponca City High School, please nominate them and send your nomination form to: Ponca City Public Schools, 613 E. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
