Weather alert issued

The National Weather Service  in Norman has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from now until 6 p.m. CST Wednesday.

There will be light freezing drizzle possible through Wednesday.

Expect periods of light freezing drizzle with a light glaze of ice in portions of central, northern and central Oklahoma as early as late this afternoon, but more likely late this evening. Periods of light freezing drizzle could continue
until Wednesday evening.

Slick spots on roads are possible, especially on bridges and overpasses.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
