Andrew Gronigan awarded Donald R. Hays Scholarship at NOC

Northern Oklahoma College freshman basketball player Andrew Gronigan is the Donald R. Hays Scholarship recipient for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The late Eleanor Hays established this scholarship is 1991 in memory of her husband, Donald R. Hays who was a former basketball player at Northern (at the time it was called the University Preparatory School) and the University of Oklahoma.

Gronigan received this scholarship for being a  basketball player who attained the highest grade point average during his freshman year at Northern Oklahoma College. He is a Process Tech major who graduated from Bartlesville High School.

Presenting the scholarship certificate is Dr. Cheryl Evans, NOC President and  Sheri Snyder, NOC Foundation Executive Director. Joining Andrew is head coach Donnie Jackson and Andrew’s parents, Amy and Michael Gronigan.
