BINGER, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says it’s been asked to assist in the investigation of the death of a man in Binger, about 45 miles (72 kilometers) west of Oklahoma City.
An OSBI news release says the Bureau was contacted Saturday by Binger Police Chief James Pate after the body of 57-year-old Randy Joe Gathers was found shortly before 9 a.m.
The release says police had gone to the home after several residents reported not having seen Gathers recently.
The OSBI says the death is considered suspicious, but offered no other details. No suspects or arrests have been announced.
