Ponca City Chamber community award winners

The Chamber of Commerce hosted its 120 ^th banquet last night.

One of the most anticipated parts of the banquet are the community awards.

Each award is presented by the previous winner.

The Gary Martin Outstanding City Employee is Rhonda Skrapke.

Presented by Kevin Murphy.

Business Partner of the year is Team Radio.

Presented by Wendy Stobbe.

Industry of the Year is Albertson’s Distribution Facility.

Presented by Laurence Beliel.

Larry Huges Leadership Award winner is Terron Liles.

Presented by Sue Lunsford.

Volunteer of the Year is Ann Bandy.

Presented by Bill and Betty Rutz.

The Outstanding Citizen award is the most prestigious award.

This years Outstanding Citizen is Quality Water owner, Kelly Johnson.

Chamber president, Rich Cantillion said Johnson does everything with a servant heart.

“ Kelly has been so involved with so many things," Cantillion said. "He’s been a chair of our Chamber of Commerce, he is the current chair right now of our Ponca City Development Authority. He’s been invovled with Peach Tree Landing. I mean there are so many things that Kelly has touched in Ponca City.”

Cantillion said on top of all that he has donated thousands of bottles of water to the community.

Winners of this award have been serving Ponca City for years.

Selection of the Citizen of Year is done by past winners.
