Our office will start working tourism shows promoting Ponca City this next week. This is always an exciting time of year for us. Our first show is in McAllen, Texas, promoting Ponca City to Winter Texans. Winter Texans are people from the northern states that spend the winter in south Texas. This is a great show for us.
Many Winter Texans travel home I-35. Every spring we see people in our office that we spoke to at this show. We have six other shows we will work this spring to bring people to Ponca City. There is so much to see and do here. Ponca City is a true tourism destination.
We will have customer service training on Friday, Jan. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Chamber Office. It is free for Chamber members and we will provide lunch. Let us help take your employees to a new level of customer service. It is one thing to promote Shopping Ponca First, but if we don’t offer incredible customer service, this is not going to happen.
