5 Die In Bartlesville Fire

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) – Authorities say five people were found dead after a house fire in the northern Oklahoma city of Bartlesville.

Bartlesville Police Sgt. David Hackler says the fire was reported shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, responders discovered five people dead inside the home.

Hackler said the case is still under investigation by police and fire authorities, along with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the state medical examiner’s office. The victims’ names haven’t been released and authorities have not yet released a cause of death.
