Light snow falls in northeastern Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports roadways in northeastern Oklahoma – especially bridges and overpasses – are slick in spots following light snowfall.

O-DOT says roads Thursday morning in the Tulsa metro area and in Creek, Delaware, Nowata, Osage and Washington counties have snow ranging from a light dusting to close to 1 inch.

The National Weather Service has warned of bitterly cold temperatures in the region and temperatures were in the mid to upper teens Thursday morning.
