The Latest: 5 die in Oklahoma small plane crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says five people were killed when a small plane crashed in northern Oklahoma.
A patrol report says the five died shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday when the single-engine plane crashed near Ponca City, about 90 miles (145 kilometers) north of Oklahoma City.
The names of the five were not released.
Highway Patrol Lt. Kera Philippi and National Transportation Safety Board spokesman Peter Knudson said the victims had attended a breakfast at Ponca City Regional Airport before the crash.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford said the plane crashed shortly after take-off.
Knudson and Lunsford said both agencies were sending investigators to the site and that the aircraft was an Extra EA400, which is described as a six-passenger, corporate aircraft.
Philippi said the plane burned after the crash, obliterating much of its tail number.
