Delmer E. Frye

July 2, 1945 – July 27, 2018

Delmer Eugene Frye, age 73, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was born on the farm in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Sam and Bertha Frye.

A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 pm on July 31, 2018 at the Prairie View Assembly of God with Pastor John Vaughan officiating with former Pastor Shawn Deese assisting. Burial to conclude at Lamont Cemetery.

He married Fleta Dawn Simpkins of Enid on November 1, 1985. They were married for 19 years until her passing in 2004. He enjoyed his family, friends and worshipping his Lord.

He was survived by seven siblings: Clifford and Elizabeth Frye of Chelsea, OK, Delbert and Louise of Afton, OK, Josephine Green of Nowata, OK, Shirley Beldon of Nowata, OK, Sammy and Kathy of Chelsea, OK, David Frye of Enid, OK and Debra Patton of Enid, OK; five children: Maria Parson of Blackwell, OK, Kieth and Marie Ent of Skiatook, OK, Eddie and Minijo Shelton of Lamont, OK, Ray and Yolanda Gillion of Lamont, OK, Jeramy and Nina of Moreland, OK; and he has twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Fleta; parents: Sam and Bertha; brothers: Raymond Frye and Tommy Frye; sisters: Alletha, Jarvis, Wanda and Barbara Frye; grandson Dillon Ingraham and one daughter, Jayme Diefenbach.
