PHOENIX (AP) – Trevor Ariza says he’s joining a Phoenix Suns team that has talent but doesn’t know how to win. That’s where the 14-year NBA veteran comes in. He brings defense, experience, scoring and lots of leadership and a winning pedigree to a franchise that’s missed the playoffs the last two seasons. Ariza says good teams learn to be selfless, and it’s an attitude that spreads from player to player. Phoenix spent virtually all of its cap space on Ariza’s one-year, $15 million deal.
