Robert N. Colombe passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home in Tonkawa. He was 97 years old.

A funeral ceremony for Robert will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Christian Life Church in Tonkawa. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Ralston, Oklahoma. Robert’s family will be available to greet friends at Trout Funeral Home in Tonkawa on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa.

Robert was born on September 23, 1920 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to his parents, Robert and Myrtle Colombe. Robert attended the Oklahoma Military Academy and served his country as part of the Army Air Corps. On June 1, 1941, Robert married the love of his life, Deahn Bryant, in Fairfax, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma. Robert was an attorney in Tonkawa for 60 years. He was a member of the Christian Life Church in Tonkawa.

Robert is survived by his wife of 77 years, Deahn Colombe of Tonkawa, daughter, Janet and husband Charles Son of Tulsa, Oklahoma, granddaughter, Julie Linker of Richmond, Virginia, granddaughter, Stacye Onstott and husband Tim Onstott and their sons Alan and Kade from Keller, Texas, and grandson, Michael Son and Kara Son and their children Rowan, Sage and Ava from Oklahoma City.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Colombe in 1970.

Casketbearers will be: Calvin Crumrine, Michael Son, Tim Onstott, Tim Casper, Charles Son, and Alan Onstott.

Honorary Casketbearers will be: Ron Appleman, Bob Rice, Carl Goad, and Joe Locker.
