First, a sock hop, and then a movie

Two fun events are set for June 22 – first, a sock hop at the Senior Center at 5:30 p.m. with Larry Lenhart, Larrell Birdsong, Bob Rogers, Kevin Roe, Ryan Burkette, and Jacque Salman, featuring the music of Patsy Cline, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and other favorites. There will be hamburgers, chips, desserts and bottled cokes. The event is free, but reservations are helpful for planning.Call Marie Trenary, Senior Citizens Program Specialist, 763-8051.

Second, there’s a free film showing on the Mobile Movie Theater. “Planes,” rated PG, will be shown at the PCDA hangar at 2501 North Waverly at 9 p.m. Thanks again to the 32^nd Leadership Class for the donation of the mobile Movie Theater!
