(STILLWATER, Oklahoma, January 25, 2023) — The NFL’s final two playoff games this Sunday, Jan. 29 will be played on football fields with a base of turfgrass developed at Oklahoma State University.
The Philadelphia Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers and the Chiefs will host the Cincinnati Bengals, both on a turfgrass base developed at OSU.
The program is housed within the horticulture and landscape architecture department in OSU’s Ferguson College of Agriculture.
Parts of Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa were also seeded in OSU turfgrass varieties during the PGA Championship last May.
