A Hominy woman was killed in a 2 vehicle accident yesterday morning 3 miles south of Wynona in Osage County. 61 year old Terrie Covington was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on State Highway 99 when she drifted left of center into the path of a 2018 Honda Accord driven by 20 year old Chloe Shadlow, also of Hominey.
The two collided head on in the southbound lane. Covington died at the scene. Shadlow was pinned for about 30 minutes and was then transported by Mediflight to Saint John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Admitted in fair condition with arm and leg injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The accident is still under investigation.
