Special events planned for June at Senior Center

The Ponca City Senior Center will host three special events during the month of June.
“Season of Aging”
Join us for the fourth and final session of the “Season of Aging” series, which will be held on Saturday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ponca City Senior Center.
Chris Mendoza, Alliance Health CEO, will be the keynote speaker. Following Mendoza’s presentation, a panel of professionals in the aging field will be available to answer questions from the audience.
This free event includes a salad buffet and door prizes. For reservations, please contact the Senior Center.
Norman Rockwell Exhibit
Then on Tuesday, June 5, join us as we travel to Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa to see the Norman Rockwell exhibit.
The cost for the trip is $5 and lunch is on your own. Bus seating is limited, so please contact the Senior Center to reserve your seat.
Old Fashioned Sock Hop
An Old Fashioned Sock Hop with hits form the 1950s and 1960s will be held on the evening of Friday, June 22, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Music by Larry Lenhart, Larrell Birdsong, Bob Rogers, Kevin Roe, Ryan Burkette, and Jacque Salman will feature Patsy Cline, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and other favorites.
Hamburgers, chips, desserts, and bottled soft drinks will be served. There is no charge for this event, but reservations are helpful for planning.
