Three die in collision near Bristow

Three people died in a collision about 7:30 a.m. Monday on State Highway 66, just west of 181st Street South eastbound, three miles north of Bristow, Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Brandi G. Shoemake, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene of massive injuries, according to emergency medical personnel. She was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram.

Donald E. Fisher, 90, of Broken Arrow and Mary A. Fisher, 78, Broken Arrow, also died at the scene of massive injuries. They were in a 2015 Chevrolet Impala.

Details of the collision are still under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The Patrol did report both vehicles were equipped with seat belts, but Shoemake was not wearing hers.
