Linda Marie Arnold

July 2, 1951 – May 1, 2018

Linda Marie King Arnold passed away at the age of 66 on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born on July 2, 1951 in Ponca City, OK to Frank and Marie Thele King. Linda graduated from Ponca City High School in 1969 and then graduated from Northern Oklahoma College.

She married Edward Arnold on May 24, 1974 and they made their home in Ponca City. She was employed at the Ponca City Nursing Home as a cook for a number of years and as a custodian at the Ponca City High School for 17 years, before failing health forced her to retire.

Linda was very interested in all sorts of crafts but she loved to crochet, read, and work jigsaw puzzles the most. She was also a longtime member of Albright United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned H. King and Mr. and Mrs. Merton Thele, her father, Frank King, sisters; Kay Louise Cartwright and Shari Lynn King.
Linda is survived by her husband, Edward and her mother, Marie King.

A memorial ceremony for Linda will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Albright United Methodist Church with Reverend April Coats presiding.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
