Caden Lee Stafford of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday, April 9, 2018, at his home at the age of 16 years.

Caden Lee Stafford was born on November 5, 2001, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Lamario D. Stillwell and Misty D. Stafford. Caden grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools. He was currently a sophomore at Blackwell High School and the Maroons biggest fan. He loved cheering for his brother and his friends. He was a “ladies man” to all the girls and never met a stranger. He loved his teachers, playing video games and spending time with friends. He was passionate about heavy equipment and trucks, especially firetrucks. He was an avid participant on the Blackwell Special Olympics Team and Kara’s Game in Blackwell.

He is survived by his parents of Blackwell; a brother, Isaiah Stafford of Blackwell; paternal grandfather, Marvin Mitchell of Oklahoma City; maternal grandmother, Diana Gail Stafford of Garber; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Aysia Stafford; and paternal grandmother, Yolanda Jackson; and maternal grandfather, Allen Stafford.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 13th in the Blackwell High School Auditorium with Rev. Derek Marshall of Grace Christian Fellowship and Rev. Cap McIlnay of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Jerry Wieland, Cory Hanebrink, John Mitchell, Dwayne Wood, Garin Diedrich and Ty Owens. Serving as honorary casketbearers will be Tom Cannon, Jeff Byers, Brady Stafford, Shayne Kesinger, Dustin Kincaid, Marcus Kincaid, Rocky Woods and Vance Brantley.
