A Bartlesville man was killed and a Ponca City man injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred today at 7:39 a.m. near the intersection of State Highway 11 and Waverly, three miles west of Kildare in Kay County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that an unidentified male from Bartlesville, age 55, was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry eastbound on Highway 11 when he crossed over the solid double yellow center line into oncoming traffic. The Camry then collided head on with a 1998 Toyota Sienna van driven by Ponca City resident Denver Gearhart, 83.
