January 22, 1944 – February 26, 2018

Charles (Chuckie Boy) C. Neely of Ponca City has gone to heaven. He was 74 years old. He was born to John Pete Neely and Media Belle Davis Neely on January 22, 1944 in Gridley, California. He passed at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 6:55 in the evening.

Chuckie Boy enjoyed camping and fishing. He always grew a large garden and enjoyed cooking for his family from items he harvested. He fried almost everything but it was delicious. He is survived by his daughter, Tina McGee and husband David of Ponca City, Sisters Betty Myers of Ponca City, Joyce Epperson and husband Shelby of Republic, Missouri, Linda Arnold of Ponca City, Pamela Savage and husband James of Blackwell, brother Johnny Neely of Ponca City, numerous nieces and nephews, a host of extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Marvin John Neely and Jim Neely, sisters Patsy Brown and Ruby Cauthon, three grandchildren John, Rodney, and Angel Kear.

Chuckie Boy will be available for visitation on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends and guests on Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00. A funeral service under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at the Faith Tabernacle Church in Ponca City. Burial will follow at the IOOF (Odd Fellows ) Cemetery in Tonkawa, OK. Pallbearers for the service will include Brent Arnold, Kyle Arnold, Drew Arnold, Charlie Epperson, John Cauthon, and Billy Dean Cauthon. Honorary bearers will include B Battery 6th Missile Battalion 562nd Artillery and D&P Tank Services.
