Ponca City voters elect two Ponca City Board of Education seats on Tuesday

Ponca City voters elected two Ponca City Board of Education seats on Tuesday.

 

Incumbents Anna Roland and Nancy Zimmerschied will retain their positions. In unofficial election results, Nancy Zimmerschied was reelected to her position by defeating Tracy Davis McCloud by a vote of 658 to 233 (73.85 percent to 26.15 percent). Incument Anna Roland defeated challenger Amanda Porter-Cain by a vote of 684 to 205 (76.94 percent to 23.06 percent).

 

PCPS Superintendent Shelley Arrott said, “We appreciate the selfless commitment of all four candidates who were willing to serve the students, staff and patrons for the betterment of Ponca City Public Schools. Thank you for stepping up to be involved in our school and community.
