Road Construction To Be Done In A Week

Construction on Prospect will be done just in time for holiday shopping.

The cracks are gone, now they will re-apply some paint and fix a water valve.

Mike Lane, traffic engineer said this project should be done by the end of the week.

"The guys are coming in to do the striping this week," Lane said."That kind of will be a bother for a while, while they are there, but after that things should be back to normal."

The construction on Fairview is underway, as well.

They have done some curb repairs and will begin some driveway repairs next.

Then they will mill and overlay the street.

This project is expected to be finished in a week, too.

Keep in mind finish dates are tentative because of weather.

Both projects should be done long before the final deadline of Thanksgiving.
