Personal Injury Collision in Payne County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a personal injury collision occurred about 2:20 a.m. Sunday at State Highway 18 and Fairlawn Road, about 3 miles north of Cushing, OK in Payne County.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2017 Ford F150 driven by Verble Levoy Wallace II (SIC), 51, of Cushing, OK. Wallace was not injured.

A passenger in the vehicle, William Rocky Trail (SIC), 21, also of Cushing, OK was transported by Cushing EMS to Stillwater Medical Center then to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK where he was admitted in stable condition with neck and leg injuries.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated that the vehicle was southbound on SH 18. The vehicle departed the roadway to the left, coming to rest on its top. Seatbelts were equipped, but not in use. The report notes the cause of the collision as driving under the influence.
