On Monday, Kay County Commissioner’s placed Kay County under a 2 week Burn Ban.
The deadline for the 2 week Burn Ban is Feb. 28 unless rescinded by commissioners.
Any outdoor burning is prohibited during this time. Commissioner’s will reevaluate on February 28.
A burn ban is also in effect for Noble and Payne counties.
