The Oklahoma State Department of Health released new information regarding COVID-19 cases for this week.
Kay County’s seen 309 new COVID-19 cases. Kay County’s seen 11,768 COVID-19 cases since March 2020. As of February 9, 53% of Kay County’s age 5+ population, as well as 85.2% of the age 65+ population, have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 44.3% of Kay County’s age 5+ population is fully vaccination.
As of February 7, the District 3 region, which includes Creek, Lincoln, Kay, Noble, Osage, Pawnee and Payne counties, there were 1,901 new COVID-19 cases. District 3 has seen 72,211 COVID-19 cases since early 2020.

20,869 new COVID-19 cases (66.8% decrease from last week) 59.2% of eligible Oklahomans are fully vaccinated. 18-34 has a low fully vaccinated rate (41.4%), and represents a high percentage of new cases (25.9%). 778,172 third/booster doses have been administered.OSDH continues to encourage all Oklahomans to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
