West Middle School celebrates Teacher of the Year recipients; holds drawing

Students and staff at West Middle School celebrated two special events this week – the Bankers Drawing and Teacher of the Year selections. The Bankers Drawing is a partnership with local banks to celebrate the reading successes of West Middle School students. Each bank awards a $25 certificate to a random student that met certain reading goals throughout the year. Partnering banks are First National Bank of Oklahoma, RCB Bank, Cherokee Strip Credit Union, Equity Bank and City National Bank.

West also celebrated their two Teacher of the Year award winners. They are Andrew Orr (Band Director), and Chawnte Sober (Reading Teacher).
