STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – Oklahoma State has dismissed junior Davon Dillard and freshman Zack Dawson from the basketball team for failing to meet unspecified standards set by the program.

Coach Mike Boynton says he could not “make compromises in our core values when it comes to individual players.”

Dillard and Dawson were suspended before the season for reasons the school has not disclosed. Dawson missed one game and Dillard missed the first five.
