PAULS VALLEY, Okla. (AP) – Oklahoma agriculture officials say 22 missing head of cattle have been located.
The Black Angus and Black Baldy cattle had been reported missing and perhaps stolen in Garvin County.
Chief Jerry Flowers of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry says the cattle were being cared for by a local rancher and that the cattle are safe in a pasture.
The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this theft. Flowers said many tips were called in by the public.
The cattle are owned by John Griswold of Griswold Cattle Co. in Stillwater.
