Reta M. McDonald

July 16, 1946 – December 9, 2017

Reta Mae (Epperson) McDonald passed away on December 9, 2017 in Ponca City. She was 71 years old. A funeral ceremony to remember Reta will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest following the ceremony at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends and family may pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 5-8 pm and Wednesday, December 13, 2017 8am – 8pm.

Reta was born on July 16, 1946 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to her parents, Robert Taylor Epperson and Alma Lorene (Beebe) Epperson. She graduated from Ponca City High School. Reta liked to stay busy and worked at TG&Y, Glen Harris Furniture Store and as a supervisor at Conoco.

Reta is survived by her sons, Bill McDonald and wife Connie of Marshall, Oklahoma and Roy McDonald and wife Cami of Edmond, Oklahoma, sisters, Charlotte Wells of Ponca City, Linda Campbell of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Donna Vail of Arkansas, grandchildren, Courtney McDonald, Kyle McDonald, Madaline McDonald, and Bronson McDonald, sister-in-law, Margaret Epperson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Epperson and brother-in-law, Lloyd Wells.

Reta loved her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
