District breaks ground for new football locker room

The Ponca City Public School district officially broke ground today for their new football locker room being built north of Robson Fieldhouse. The project was part of the $37,225,000 bond election passed overwhelmingly by voters on October 13, 2015.

The new locker room will continue the ongoing athletic facility improvements planned in the bond issue. It included the construction of a new press box, weight room and football locker room. Renovations also included improvements to the exterior of Sullins Stadium, the arena of Robson Fieldhouse, and baseball and softball facilities.
