The Kay County Health Department recently shared information on who all is eligible for the booster dose of the vaccines.
If you received the Janssen primary does, you only need to be 18 years of age or older to get the booster. Booster shots for Janssen can be given at least 2 months after the primary dose.
For people that received the two shots of either the Pfizer-Biontech or Moderna, you need to be 65 years of age or older. If you are 18 years and older, but have underlying medical conditions or work or live in a high risk setting, you’re eligible for the booster. Booster shots for Pfizer-Biontech or Moderna can be given at least 6 months after the second dose.
